Here's the latest news on the upcoming film,
The Lost City of New York *now titled CITY OF DREAMS* is a short film, written and to be directed by yours truly. We are a week and a few days from shooting. We are all crewed up, the locations have been secured (mostly) and the actors are ready for their close-ups. Here's my policy on rehearsals: none. I would much rather sit around and talk about the character than rehearse all of the spontaneity out of the actors. This is what I did on EvenHand and it seemed to work pretty well for both of the Bills. We didn't really have time to rehearse anyone else, so that was fine, too. Our locations include the NYC Transit Museum (for an antique train), a shop in Harlem, Morningside Park and my very own stoop. Above you see a fictional advertisement I designed for the Subway sequence. I finally get to be both the director and the production designer. * * * * * * * * * * Don't forget to visit the EvenHand Store.
