Will you put out a soundtrack album?
Thanks, Sean, for snapping us out of our questionless stupor. The
answer is that we would love to produce a soundtrack album. We
certainly have enough rocking tunes to fill one up (see the EvenHand
Links page). I am exploring some options for a soundtrack now.
If we are successful, I will post information on how to buy the
soundtrack on the EvenHand website, so please check the site for
updates. If you register with us
I will send an e-mail when we have soundtrack news (no spam -- guaranteed!).

Why is the film called "EvenHand"? The screenplay's author, Mike Jones, never gave me a good answer to that question, but here's mine: one of the important themes in
EvenHand is about finding balance between the job and life outside of the job. Cops who bring the job home every day tend to burn out. Morning's story shows us one of the extremes of this: he fails to find balance and in the end, it costs him his life. Francis, on the other hand, takes a more evenhanded approach to the job. Ultimately, it is that balanced and thoughtful approach that will allow him to survive, both on duty and in his new relationship with Jessica. While "evenhand" is not actually a real word, I feel that it accurately represents one of the
important themes in the film.

Why does the film's title have that stupid and
pretentious capitalization of the "H" in the middle?
As in EvenHand. No one has complained to my face
about this seemingly minor breach of spelling etiquette, but there have been a
few rantings in IMDb reviews and in postings in other corners of the
web. The answer is that this is how Mike Jones, the
screenwriter, punctuated the title and I guess I thought it was sort
of interesting and cool, so I continued the practice.
Honestly, if I had known that anyone was going to think it was
idiotic, I would have just done what I usually do anyway: write the
title in all-caps. Sorry.
