Dear Pete & Liz,
Thank goodness we are finally out of California! We are in Arizona now at a truck stop.
The Remhardts won't even come in - they just keep feeding Eugenie with an eyedropper in
the car. I swear, there was blood all over the car yesterday morning. Its a miracle that
coyote didn't drag her out of the car and eat her right up. I guess the Yap! Yap! Yap!
woke just about all of us up and scared the varmint off. Guess what Burma did when she saw
all that blood? Upchuck city. Now she says just sitting in the car makes her gag. Great.
Plus, Jan has just ordered the "cheese variety snack" and I can tell she is
getting all cranked up to make a giant scene about how bad it is. Ugh. Arizona is hot and
there are lots of cactuses. cacti? - Joseph
