Dear Elizabeth & Peter,
Here we are in Death Valley - boy I can see why they call it that - the only animals here
are tiny and mostly invisible ("nocturnal" says the guide). We must stay the
night tonight in a motel that doesn't allow pets so Eugenie must sleep in the car. I am
hoping for one of those "nocturnal" coyotes to come along and eat her up. Yap!
Yap! Yap! I swear I almost killed her today. The Remhardts are very worried about her.
Burma got carsick on the way into the valley. Yuk! At least she made it out the window! Hi
