Dear Elizabeth & Peter,
Boy is this Larned place dull. The museum has nothing but Northeast Indian artifacts and
really giant beets and huge sunflowers. The Remhardts are kind of worried about Eugenie
again - when Mary R. was brushing her this morning even more hair came out. Now all you
have to do is look at her (if you can stand it) and hair falls out. I think it's kind of
gross. The car is a mess. Jan seems to be in a bad mood again - did she call you? Did you
tell her? Don't! She had a cheeseburger today and made a big show of scraping all the
cheese off. Nul offered to hypnotise her, but Jan just glared at her. Tomorrow we go to
Iola. I hope we have time for the K.Rockne memorial on the way. Fondly, Joseph
