Dear Eliz. & Pete,
Finally we met Nul today! She met us in Beaumont. I was so glad to see her that I leapt
out of the car and slammed the door behind me. I guess I didn't notice Eugenie was on her
way out the door, too. Burma spent a long time trying to convince the Remhardts that a dog
can manage with one front leg (left) and one back leg (right). Mary and Eldud are at the
hospital with Eugenie now. I feel sort of bad. I have never seen so many oil wells! Love,
