Dear Eliz. & Pete,
Boy, what a plane trip! Not only did the engine fail but Burma got sick all over my
book, etc. Ugh. Anyway, I had to throw away my pants - too gross. We are now in Port
Orford. We stopped for lunch. I have this funny feeling that the Remhardts did bring
Eugenie. Oh, well. It sure is cold here! I can't wait for California, although Prehistoric
Gardens are supposed to be quite super. Best to Hattie, Joseph
