She got great reviews for her movie debut, "In and Out."

She won the 1995 VH-1 Model of the Year Award.

She has done ad campaigns for Versace, Jill Sanders, Dolce & Gabbana,  Max Mara and Chanel, and is a most sought after runway model.

She was a host of MTV's House of Style with Amber Valletta.

Harlow goes on 'Jury' duty
Thesp to play private practice defense attorney


"The Jury" is saying hello to Shalom Harlow.

Model-thesp has been cast in a leading role in the one-hour Fox drama pilot from exec producers Barry Levinson, Tom Fontana, Jim Finnerty and James Yoshimura. Fontana and Yoshimura are writing, with Levinson set to direct the 20th Century Fox TV pilot greenlit earlier this year under the title "The Circuit" (Daily Variety, Sept. 9).

Harlow will play Melissa Greenfield, a private practice defense attorney who had been a public defender.

Thesp's recent credits include Par's "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days," starring Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey, and "The Salton Sea."

Upcoming features include the ensemble "I Love Your Work" and the crime drama "Happy Here and Now," from scribe-helmer Michael Almereyda.

UTA and Heather Reynolds-repped Harlow made the transition from model to TV personality in 1996 as co-host of MTV's "House of Style."
