The blessed moment has finally come: Cherry will open in a real theater here in New York, for a week. Here are the details: The Art Greenwich Theatre December 10th - December 16th SHOWTIMES: 2:00 PM, 4:00 PM, 6:00 PM, 8:00 PM, 10:00 PM daily The nearest Subway stop is the 14th Street IRT, 1/9 Local or 2 & 3 Express. Exit at the South end of the platform and walk one block West. And please: go, see the film, buy some popcorn or Junior Mints. Or tell your friends who actually live in New York to go. Janet Maslin's review appeared in the 12/10/99 New York Times. We will reprint in on "Making Cherry" in its entirety as soon as we get permission to do so from the Times. It is a favorable review, which makes us very happy. And yes, she is the "mystery critic." If you know someone who lives in New York that's a good candidate for going to see Cherry, click on the Mail Guy to e-mail us their address and we'll send them a spiffy four color postcard with the theater information on it.
